AREA OF SURVEY

Although based in Sussex, surveys are regularly carried out all over the UK from the Scilly Isles in the West to Lowestoft in the East and as far North as Mallaig in Scotland. The majority of surveys are carried out in the south-east of England between Sussex, Hampshire, Kent, Essex and the Thames Valley but anywhere outside this area is not a problem.

Buying Abroad

Many purchasers like to have a UK base surveyor examine their purchase when buying abroad. This has the advantages of the report being written in English and covered by UK laws, and also ensures that the surveyor is fully independent of the broker, as is the case in the UK.

With most of Europe now accessible within a few hours by 'plane or train, this is becoming a more practical option. France, Belgium and The Netherlands are regular places of survey, with Mediterranean surveys carried out from Portugal to Greece. Inspections can be carried out anywhere in the EU.
